The Brief

Rainbow Mermaids came to me requesting a refresh for their brand, Rainbow Mermaids: an inclusive & diverse children’s colouring in book. The book itself was born out of love and passion for all children to see themselves reflected in materials they access every day - so RM wanted a brand that reflected that. Fun, joy-filled, vibrant and stand-out were words that went around a lot. They did have a particular style in mind, but in true Lauren fashion - I pitched a second option that was a tad bit different, and that was the one that took RM’s eyes.
